- For
- Star Trek fans marking an annual fan observance
- Worth noticing
- The page names four security officers and gives each a specific cause of death in the episode.
Field notes
The page attributes the date to the first airing of “The Apple” on Friday, October 13, 1967, and gives a nine-down, five-back tally for the landing party. It names Hendorff, Kaplan, Mallory, and Marple, pairing each with a stated cause of death. The suggested rituals are lightweight: wear red, remember the crew, add the date to a calendar, or share a tribute.
