A Wales-based project offers three free software synthesizers for macOS, in VST3 and AU formats.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-30 issue.

For: Mac-based music producers and synthesizer players
Worth noticing: Mellt FM1 gives FM operator routing its own pin matrix, making algorithms visible as connections rather than a list.

Field notes

The three instruments cover FM, Karplus–Strong string, and wavetable synthesis, with the site emphasizing hands-on routing and envelope controls. It says Tonnau WT-3 can lock each envelope stage to the track clock; the listed formats are VST3 and AU for macOS. The download page is not open yet, and the current route to the files is an email request.
