A read-only tuning adviser for MySQL and Linux

Field notes

An agent installed on the server sends signed metrics every minute and periodic snapshots of database and host configuration; workload checks wait for six hours of data before producing findings. The page says the agent is read-only and that findings include measurements, exact setting statements, restart requirements, and rollback steps. AOD Tune is in early access for Admin on Demand managed customers; self-serve sign-up is described as a later step.
