DeskDot is a free, open-source app for running games, live data, media displays, and other apps on an iDotMatrix 32×32 LED panel.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-01 issue.

For: iDotMatrix 32×32 panel owners and makers
Worth noticing: The page lists 905 documented settings, 21 MCP tools, and phone-based multiplayer support for several games.

Field notes

The engine is described as handling Bluetooth, rendering each app at the panel’s 32×32 resolution, and reconnecting automatically. The site says its previews use the same frames sent to the panel, and offers both an AI-assisted setup prompt and a manual guide. It also identifies DeskDot as an independent project, not an official product of the iDotMatrix makers.
