Field notes

Founder Sarina Guerra describes the project as starting on her kitchen table in October 2024, after her work as a local journalist. The homepage’s examples include contributor accounts connected to Slab City Care Club events, a car-culture essay, and a local independent-wrestling feature. It also links to a city council calendar and local events, extending the site beyond its article archive.
