A DIY small-farm guide with calculators and build examples for automating tasks using parts the site says owners can maintain themselves.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-05 issue.

For: Small-scale farmers planning DIY automation
Worth noticing: Its garden calculator turns four people and 60 days of eating into a 2,880-square-foot crop plan.

Field notes

The guide’s stated chapter pattern pairs the old method with a build, parts and wiring, then an account of limits. Its examples range from a ram pump and GPS autosteer to cellar sensors, coop controls, and off-grid farm communications. The homepage also links to software and a field ledger; its heading says five parts, while the visible contents enumerate Parts I through VII.
