Kishi Notch turns a Mac’s notch into a control surface for music, meetings, notifications, timers, and connected-device battery levels.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-05 issue.

For: MacBook notch owners and Mac users managing meetings, media, and peripherals
Worth noticing: A second activity can move into a separate bubble, leaving the primary activity visible beside the notch.

Field notes

The app is offered as a native Swift download for macOS 14 and later, with Apple Silicon and Intel listed. Its battery display also covers connected peripherals, but earbud level reporting depends on whether the device exposes that data to macOS; the page names AirPods and Beats as examples. Download is offered with a seven-day trial, and the listed purchase price is $19.99.
