Layzbooks is a desktop app for laying out photo albums, sending client proofs, and arranging printing and delivery.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-05 issue.

For: Wedding and portrait photographers making client albums
Worth noticing: The desktop app imports Lightroom star ratings and color labels; browser editing and account sync are marked “Coming soon.”

Field notes

The page describes imports that retain Lightroom star ratings and color labels, plus layered Photoshop exports for individual spreads. It also says text can use fonts installed on the photographer’s computer so screen and print match. Browser editing, account sync, and payment inside the proofing link are labeled as coming soon rather than available features.
