Flooding at Our Home: Mae Klong Basin
A community map for flood reports in Thailand’s Mae Klong basin, with an interface for marking conditions, requesting help, and viewing waterways.
- For
- Residents of the Mae Klong basin
- Worth noticing
- Mapped waterways use OpenStreetMap geometry; missing source segments are left blank rather than joined with invented lines.
Field notes
The interface breaks reports into event type, details, location, and observation time; location can be selected on the map or taken from device GPS. It offers water-depth categories from ankle level to above waist and sends incorrect-report flags to an administrator review queue, where reports can be confirmed, hidden, rejected, marked resolved, or deleted. The current page shows zero reports and says rain and discharge feeds are still awaiting data connections.
