A free browser tool that turns a screenshot into a GIF—or a video for sharing on platforms that do not take GIFs.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-05 issue.

For: People making screenshot reactions to share
Worth noticing: The FAQ recommends video for Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat because those platforms do not take GIFs.

Field notes

The input area accepts a selected screenshot, a dragged file, or a pasted image, with the FAQ naming ⌘V and Ctrl+V. The page distinguishes GIFs for texts and group chats from video for Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat, and says processing stays on the device. It presents the tool as free; no account or payment step is shown.
