Time Series Explorer
A browser-based viewer and editor for time-series data, with plotting, derived-variable formulas, and cleanup tools for simulation and tabular files.
- For
- People inspecting simulation or measurement data
- Worth noticing
- The fill tool leaves gaps longer than a user-set limit untouched and preserves the file’s row count and time axis.
Field notes
The formula panel supports variable autocomplete and explains the semantics of its operations: diff computes successive sample differences without dividing by elapsed time, while cumsum is a running sum. The missing-data controls offer linear, PCHIP, Akima, trend-based, and nearest-sample approaches, with a user-set limit on the longest gap. The page says the tool does not add rows to bridge stretches the source file never sampled.
