An open-source, first-person video store that turns a Plex library into a place to browse movies and pick one with friends.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-06 issue.

For: Plex households choosing a movie together
Worth noticing: At checkout, players can rent titles backed by everyone, most players, or any player.

Field notes

The store sorts Plex movies and shows into genre aisles, with New Releases and Coming Soon areas. Picking up a box reveals its synopsis, cast, runtime, rating, and a seen-it marker based on each player's own Plex watched state. The page also describes floor arrows leading to staff picks based on what a player has watched and rented; the store can be opened on a demo shelf without configuration.
