Field notes
The design combines a removable wool-felt sleeve, solid ash cap, four microphones, and a ring of LEDs that indicates states such as listening, speaking, and timer. The page reports a 1.12-second median reply start on its bench rig, compared with 1.85 seconds before its first build. That measurement is presented as a project test result, not an independently verified benchmark.
