FoliMesh grows game-ready trees from prompts or presets
A browser-based generator creates procedural trees, plants, and rocks for game engines, with GLB exports and automatic LODs.
- For
- Game developers building 3D environments
- Worth noticing
- Seeds reproduce the same tree, while separate shape and polygon controls keep silhouettes consistent as LODs simplify.
Field notes
The generator exposes species presets and sliders, then exports GLB files by LOD with textures and a root pivot. Its page says seeds reproduce the same tree, while independent random streams let leaf changes leave the trunk shape alone; three-layer wind weights are baked into vertex colors. The catalog lists 42 species, and featured biome packs contain 20–24 assets apiece. MCP calls are shown for listing presets, translating a prompt into parameters, and exporting.
