- For
- Nikon ZR filmmakers monitoring on an iPhone
- Worth noticing
- The page lists 19 camera controls and describes a separate Mac app that syncs a shoot for Gyroflow and DaVinci Resolve.
Field notes
The described wired setup uses a USB-C cable between the camera and a USB-C iPhone; the wireless option uses the Nikon ZR’s own network, with no router needed. The page says the camera continues recording to its own card, while the phone handles monitoring tools and control. For stabilization, it describes logging rig motion, syncing a shoot with Pocket Sync for Mac, then using Gyroflow in DaVinci Resolve.
