- For
- Jazz keyboard players practicing chord changes
- Worth noticing
- The ii–V–I drill covers all 12 keys, with voice-leading examples, fingerings, playback, and a swing metronome.
Field notes
The instructions connect each sequence to the movement of individual notes: in major and minor cycles, one right-hand finger can hold while the other moves; dominant sevenths use a different chromatic pattern. Players can set two or four beats per chord, choose percussion such as ride cymbal or hi-hat, and use the arrow keys to move through chords. The page also gives fingering alternatives and explains when the sequence jumps an octave.
