Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A proposed Mac app for searching archived footage by image content, on-screen text, or dialogue, including drives that are unplugged.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-22 issue.

For: Sports, documentary, and brand editors on Mac
Worth noticing: The demo uses 22 NASA archive photographs, displays confidence scores, and includes a “Nothing recognised” miss.

Field notes

The workflow is framed around footage libraries rather than only an open editing project: search by image content, text on screen, or a spoken line, then send a match to Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Resolve, or Avid. The visible demo is narrower: 22 NASA archive photographs across five labeled drives, with category labels, confidence percentages, and one “Nothing recognised” result. The page lists a $59 founding preorder and promises a full refund until shipping.
