A free Chrome extension that previews, searches, and reopens tabs from a keyboard-driven switcher.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-22 issue.
For
Chrome users juggling many tabs and windows
Worth noticing
Chrome only permits screenshots of the tab on screen, so missing previews populate as tabs are visited or through a brief capture-all pass.

Field notes

Tabatha’s manual documents a keyboard-first flow: Alt+Q opens the switcher, arrows or the mouse select a tab, and Enter opens it; Alt+W narrows the view to one window. Chrome only allows screenshots of the tab currently on screen, so previews may be blank until visited or filled by a short capture-all sequence. The manual also says closed tabs and windows remain available for seven days, while tab groups persist until removed.
