- For
- Android listeners with local music libraries
- Worth noticing
- Radio uses the free radio-browser.info directory; metadata lookup sends text to Apple's iTunes Search, not audio files.
Field notes
On Android, a selected music folder becomes a browsable shelf of cassettes, with tracks available for hand-built mixtapes. The page lists EQ presets including FLAT, HIP-HOP, VOCAL, HI-RES, and NIGHT, and says radio stations come from the radio-browser.info directory. It says metadata lookup sends text to Apple's iTunes Search rather than audio files; the proposed iOS version is described as radio-only.
