Field notes
Visitors can select a municipality by name or postal code, then ask questions in natural language; the page says its agent answers only from figures retrieved through the portal and identifies their sources. The subject list spans population, housing, education, budgets and elections, with comparisons to municipalities of similar size. Dades Cat says the underlying figures come from public bodies including Idescat, the Generalitat, ICGC and CEO, and that it combines and checks them while stating limitations.
