Why it surfaced

Hindsight says it recorded 19,440 ChatGPT shopping answers across 240 frozen questions, finding Etsy in 94.7% of answers that explicitly asked for Etsy but only 9.8% of ordinary gift answers. It preserves raw responses, discloses gaps, and publishes the named shops and machine-readable data—an unusually concrete attempt to create a history for AI recommendations.
