SpacePill Gives Every macOS Desktop a Name

Why it surfaced

It treats the familiar problem of losing track of macOS desktops as a small piece of interface design: a coloured pill, fuzzy name search, and notes that live in plain Markdown files. The unusually complete CLI can list, rename, recolour, switch, and inspect Spaces, while the site promises no network access, zero dependencies, and an MIT licence.

SpacePill is a native macOS menu bar utility that labels Spaces with colours, notes, and keyboard shortcuts, then exposes them through a command-line interface.
