Hemeroscopio, a map of Spanish media front pages
An open media-monitoring dashboard that compares which Spanish outlets carry the same stories, where they place them, and how they headline them.
Field notes
Hemeroscopio samples the front pages of named Spanish outlets at 15-minute intervals, then groups coverage into shared stories and compares headline treatment. The displayed snapshot contains 5,192 pieces from 26 outlets and separates stories carried by all, some, or only one source. A second layer uses 90 days of data to estimate each cabecera’s position, but the site withholds that map until at least 12 outlets meet its shared-story and data-day thresholds.
