ReadMyBlueprint turns plan PDFs into traceable material counts
An assisted construction takeoff tool that measures digital plans, identifies materials from drawing notes, and exports counts for bidding.
Field notes
The service uses a plan-set PDF as its input, reads the printed scale, measures walls, and compares those measurements with wall-type notes and legends on the same drawings. Results are organized into material categories and exported as CSV or Excel, with each item marked Matched, Ambiguous, or Needs confirmation. The page shows examples spanning steel studs, drywall, plywood, insulation, and CMU blocks, and says one-off plans start at $49 rather than requiring a subscription.
