Machpool accepts STL and 3MF uploads, including sets of up to 20 parts with a 100 MB limit per file. It first estimates cost from the model’s geometry, then allows a workshop to replace that figure with a calculation from a real slicer. Customers can compare workshops before assigning an order, while participating printers define their own formulas and are charged commission only when they accept work.
