Spotlight Reading puts a movable beam over the line you’re reading
A free focus-reading tool that dims surrounding text while you read webpages, PDFs, EPUBs, TXT files, or pasted passages.
Field notes
The interface accepts a URL, pasted passage, TXT, PDF, or EPUB, then presents the material in a narrow adjustable column. A draggable spotlight reduces the contrast of surrounding lines without fully hiding them, while progress remains visible at the bottom. EPUB files are described as exposing chapters, and the page lists controls for font size, line spacing, column width, and spotlight height. Seven coordinated paper-and-ink themes can be compared side by side rather than selected one at a time.
