The tool uses a deliberately non-majoritarian rule: options are compared by their least enthusiastic rating, then by the next-lowest rating, so a broadly acceptable meal can beat a divisive favorite. It combines home-cooked meals with nearby restaurant picks and reports when every option receives a No. Anonymous dinners are stored against a secure browser cookie that can expire after 30 days, while multiplayer ballots hide other participants' individual votes until the group summary.
