An open-source, local-first MCP service for collecting, reviewing, versioning, and reusing scientific figures alongside their code and method notes.
Field notes
The workflow separates a global local library from a project workspace, then moves material through import, review, publication, and reuse. Each published entry can retain the figure, source code, method notes, validation record, provenance, and license information. The project requires Node.js 22+ and can run through a generic stdio MCP entry, while its Wisp Science package is built as a ZIP plugin. Plotting itself remains outside SFL, in an approved R or Python environment.
