SCIP models API payment as a request handshake rather than a separate billing workflow. Its example server middleware assigns prices to routes such as /v1/quote and /v1/backtest, while the client wrapper reads the 402 response, signs a transfer, and retries once. The page says settlement occurs on Robinhood Chain and returns a transaction receipt with the response. It also marks the project as in development: the packages are not published, and the displayed addresses and rates are illustrative.
