Headrule applies header rules through Chrome’s declarativeNetRequest system rather than a background script that watches traffic. Filters can cover every URL, a host, a path, or a regular expression, while profiles group staging, production, and debugging setups for quick switching. The site says its source is public and that the extension does not read page content or use telemetry. Installation is currently described through the GitHub repository while the Chrome Web Store listing remains under review.
