Field notes
The public archive shows works marked “Looking for a new home” alongside named artists, while one sample record identifies a 1980 lithograph by medium, record number, and custodian date. Contributors are asked to start with a photograph and one sentence about who made the work, where it hung, or why it was kept; the page says further history can be added later.
